While Roleplaying, you are, in essence, writing a story with other members.
The RP section has more relaxed, and different rules than the others. While you are still forbidden from discussing political or controversial issues, it is a bit like acting: two forumers that are great friends could have characters that absolutely hate each other, and get in a big fight.
RP'ing can be a lot of fun, but if you don't abide by a few simple rules, it can ruin a great RP.
1. No godmodding. Godmodding is having extreme powers. For example, if your character deflected a bullet off of his chest, that would be godmodding.
2. No autohitting. This is hitting another character without giving them a post to react or dodge. Wrong: Bob punched Joe. Right: Bob threw a punch at Joe, hoping it would catch him off guard.
3. No autododging. This is where you dodge everything that is thrown at you, and it can be very irritating.
4. No metagaming. This is where you know something mentioned OOC (Out of Character) that your character wouldn't normally know, such as where the evil villian was keeping the nuclear missiles.
5. Use proper grammar and spelling. Talkinng liek thz iz rly hard 2 reed and no1 is guna pay @tenshun to ur post (Talking like this is really hard to read and no one is going to pay attention to your post.)
Have fun!
